WPRK 91.5 FM, in partnership with Rollins College, City of Winter Park and Chamber of Commerce, is launching a new live radio show and podcast called “Talk of the Town” that will air Wednesday, October 20, at 9 a.m.
Hosted by Sam Stark, Rollins College Vice President of Communications & External Relations, “Talk of the Town” will feature regular guests including Winter Park Mayor Phil Anderson and Winter Park Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Betsy Garner Eckbert. This new show and podcast will air on the third Wednesday of each month to highlight all the festive happenings in our community and great citizens doing amazing things to make our city better.
Mayor Phil Anderson shared, “The city uses a variety of tools to share important city messages from traditional media to electronic tools. Now, “Talk of the Town,” offers us a new opportunity and avenue to share our message with our on-the-go community in their cars or homes. To do this in collaboration with our partners that have a vested interest in our community is exciting. I hope “Talk of the Town” will inspire our public to become engaged and informed about the issues and activities happening in our great city.”
“I am looking forward to partnering with the City of Winter Park and Rollins College to keep our community informed on issues and events. I also look forward to sharing what’s new at the Winter Park Chamber, how our businesses are doing in the face of challenges – including comings and goings – and how we can all support the economy for everyone’s benefit,” said Betsy Garner Eckbert.
