In this episode we welcome Dr. Joel Filmore, as he shares his incredible story of resilience from prisoner to professor. Dr. Filmore is the founder, co-owner, and Director of Clinical Services for Lighthouse Professional Counseling Center. He is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) as well as a Licensed Associate Sex Offender Provider (LASOP). He is a nationally known professional counselor, educator, researcher, author, trainer, and public speaker. He is also currently an Assistant Professor and Mental Health Counseling Program Coordinator at Springfield College in Milwaukee, WI.
